I was subscribed three types of blood sugar medicines to keep my Daibetes under control.
They are as follows:
Gliclazide, sold under the brand name Diamicron among others, is an anti-diabetic medication used to treat diabetes mellitus type 2. It is used when dietary changes, exercise, and weight loss are not enough. It is taken by mouth.
Metformin is a biguanide drug mainly used to treat diabetes. It works by helping your body's own insulin work better.
Linagliptin previously known as BI-1356, marketed under trade names Tradjenta (U.S.) and Trajenta (worldwide)) is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor developed by Boehringer Ingelheim for treatment of diabetes mellitus type 2.
